I infact am very fussy - my list of requirements is short and sweet, but still haven't found anything that takes my fancy so obviously being too fussy. So if anyone wants to do some horse shopping, it would be greatly appreciated! Because of my small budget I've mainly been searching through word of mouth and local ads in tack shops, haven't done much internet searching at all. Which is where you guys come in if you fancy the challenge?

Looking for -
14.2hh plus
non-cobby preferred, but would consider anything if price is right
3-8 years (may consider a bit older if price is right)
gelding preferred, but mare considered
must be sound
budget less than £1000 - looking for a project so don't want to spend much at all!

Yes, a location would help as that is one ofthe problems I'm having! I am in Kent and don't want to travel far. So needs to be in South East

Hate Horsequest with a passion - find it a useless site to search on. But will trawl through the ads reluctantly!

The under 1k section is pretty straightforward!
I bought one off there last week, wayyyyy below your max budget

I agree (well I strongly dislike it rather than hate it), I want to be able to filter the results by region, I'm currently looking for a pony to loan (possibly buy a cheapie)for my friends 2 kids to ride, couple on there that looked ok but then you notice that they are too far away to travel!!!

Are you definitely looking to buy? Will you be selling on or keeping? Only asking as the TB I mentioned before is still available.

Yes, decided to buy now - since i am after a little project I don't really like the idea of putting a lot of work in only to hand it back to the owner as it was only on loan.

I may sell on in a few years when my yearling is ready to back, but if I like it I'll probably keep it!

Hmm OK, will sit and have a think as I wasn't planning on selling her. If I do decide to sell though does she sound like something you would be interested in?

lol!

At about the same time you posted that I found a nice looking mare, what do you all think?

What's the light coloured 'lump' looking area on her back??? or just the photo? Nevermind I think i can just about see a set of feet and think it's actually the back end of another horse lol!! oh dear I really have had a hard day at work today!! lol!!

All too far except the last one, who again is not my thing. Did I mention I was fussy? I don't normally like coloured though, and quite like the little mare above

All too far - don't want to travel out of south east. And want something backed or ready to back as already have 2 yougsters
