My 15 month old cocker has just been fed on dried commercial food. I've had him a month ( he is a private rehome) and just been carrying on with this until I've had the time to research the different options properly. His coat is pretty shabby, which is perhaps unsurprising considering his diet and the fact that he lived out all winter (nothing intrinsically wrong with that) and wasn't touched with a brush in that time. I had to take him to the vets on the first day I had the poor wee chap as his back end was covered in long mud and poo infested dreadlocks so close to the skin they had to be clipped out. Anyhoo, enough of the sob story.I have ordered some fish4dogs and was wondering if anyone had any experience of it or had any other tips on improving coat condition and encouraging his hair to grow back as at the moment his back end is clipped out and his front end isn't! He looks like two different dogs!
BTW I'm not sure about going raw right now (I simply don't have the freezer facilities, more than anything), but may do in time.
Tea and swiss choccy for you all!xx
