Anyone feed any top line mixes?

Do they make much of a difference?

Just bought Dodson and Horrell Build Up mix for Blue and Saf... i have to say it looks just like guinea pig/rabbit food to me!

fed the cubes which made a bit of a difference but not much

I have fed D&H build up cubes to Jerry since I bought him last July. It took a few months before he started to put on weight but he is now at a good weight (especially as the spring grass will be coming through soon).
However I am not sure I can put his weight gain down to the build up cubes as he started to put on weight when I brought him inside at night and he had tons of haylage in the stable to himself every night as well as haylage in the field. He also had alpha oil and pink powder.
He has only been in light work too over winter (only hacked at weekends).

All ours are fed baileys No4 (only fed cubes, never done mixes) and seems to help with them (they are all eventers in quite hard work). Flynn used to end up looking like a hat rack but since shoving as much of this in before he explodes seems to keep some topline on him!!!

The DH build up made absoloutely no difference to my mare, I actually think she has done a lot better on simple pasture mix.
