Anyone feed limestone flour?

I have fed it, just chuck it in the feed. Can't remember off-hand how much, but should say on the tub.

We fed it for years with dry bran to address a long term digestive problem in a rescued cob. I presume you're feeding it to supplement calcium for some reason?

We used to feed one scoop per feed (2 per day) for a 13.2 cob - just chuck it in the feed. It might depend on why you're feeding it and what the balence you need to address is but you might want to start at one scoop and work up. If the matter is urgent start at 2 scoops and see if you can work down. Too much calcium can upset the calcim / potassium balence for the horse but I suspect you have to really over feed it to do that.

I feed it and he has a scoop in each feed.
He's fed it because the dentist recommended it to help with his teeth as they are little soft and also farrier recommended it for his feet too.
He really likes it!
