Anyone feed micronised linseed for arthritis?

not fed it for arthritus so can't comment on that - but it is v conditioning.... just in case you've got a horse who doesn't need the extra lbs

I used to give it to Cairo for his old joints and have to say that this combined with MSM 1000 from equine america did have an improvement.

Linseed is also very good for conditionining and the digestion and I feed it to my two young horses for these factors plus as future joint protection.

I give mine two coffee mugs a day though Chancer goes up to 3 when showing and working harder.

Mine are 15.1 and 16.2 heavy types.

I want to get my hands on some to fatten my TB x up with but where is the best place to get it from? Outshine supposedly has it in it but I'm not sure in what quantities.

company called charnwood milling sell in 25kgs - they the cheapest apparantly - i have been thinking of getting some for mine

Fanastic stuff, I've used the micronised linseed quite a lot recently but I've just gone back to the old fashioned raw linseed.
It must be quite unpopular though because the feed merchant had to order it in for me.
Will check out charnwood mill for future use.
