Jollyes have finally, definitely discontinued The Mulch :( so that means goodbye to the food that has kept my dog stable for over a year and is also his tracking/training bait.

They're both on Beta Salmon and Rice but the protein level is too high for him long term.

I need low protein, no grain, no meat. Any meat he does get is raw meat and bones, the food is merely there to make him feel full.

I have seen that the Wafcol Senior range is 17-18% protein, no grain, with fish, which looks ideal.

Any other ideas? Have also shot emails to Barking Heads and Autarky although I am not confident they supply here.

Think Skinners Salmon and Rice and Fish4Dogs are too high in protein.

Fuggin sensitive sod!!!

I fed Yellow Dog their vegetarian one when his stomach was particularly bad. the only problem I had with it was it was quite big peices and being a delicate little flower  he refused to eat it until I'd smashed it into small peices for him. He did really well on it - actually gained weight which was something we had given up hope on :)

My lab and retriever are one the wafcol senior. They absolutely love it! And if you shop around online not as expensive as it appears :) they look brilliant on it too and Ronnies neuropathy has improved since putting him onto food with a lower protein level.

Oh lab is 11 and Ronnie is 8 :)

Have you looked at CSJ dog food? I have found it very good and the staff are very helpful in suggeeting the best food for your dog.

I have, not too easy to get here and not with the protein levels I am looking for, but thanks!
Elle my dog is 3 :o but he is very sensitive and evolution, that wonderful thing, has delivered me a carnivore who removes all his hair and gets UTIs when he has too much protein......
