Ok so I own a 14.2 cob , very good doer.
She has a bit of Hi Fi lite when she comes in at night time to put her supplements in.
At the moment she has:
- NAF general purpose supplement (no real reason apart from it makes me think shes getting all the 'vitamins and minerals' she needs)
Protexin gut balancer (because she had a sensitive tummy after switching yards so just kept her on it)
However, soon Im going to want to start her on her agnus castus because she can be a right madam during spring and summer.
Also she is barefoot and I feel like she should be having something to help with this - shes been barefoot for 2 months now though and feet are fine.
In reality she needs NO feed whatsoever - she has hay overnight and 12 hours turnout.
I feel like Im giving her it just to mix all these bloomin supplements in!!!
Anyone else feel like this?!!!
Trouble is with so much advertising etc these days you can easily get fooled into thinking they need this, that and the other I suppose
