Anyone for a spot of hedge hopping?

What a lovely picture! My ponys hedge jumping days are over now so your pic got me all nostalgic. You'll also have the advantage that everything seems small from the back of a 'big' horse.
 
fab photo, bet it will look amazing on a canvas and give you a great feeling everytime you look at in on your wall :)
 
Sorry I didn't mean it like that, assumed yours was small from your post & its size compared to the hedge. I meant if you then hunt a 16.2+ the same hedge will look smaller than it does from your horse. Prob should have read my post back before sending, definitely didn't mean it to come across as tho it wasn't a big hedge cos you have a huge horse, meant the opposite.
 
ah ok - wasn't sure it was obvious that he isn't very big. Reckon with a better rider than me he'd be doing far more than BE100 as he sure can jump.

dunno about that Mike - I think he's a superstar and always has been. I just sit there and try not to get in the way. It was little Llewi who gave me the confidence to get a horse like Monty and feel happy to go out with a pack who jump hedge after hedge. Now he's happy getting fat in the field and hacking out with my friends but I have a lot to thank him for.

Now what I really need is another eventer/hunter as prep for eventing has severely hindered my hunting this winter - not even made it to double figures! I definitely need another one so they can share duties!
