Hi All.... don't venture in here very often but I hope to get some advice or inspiration...
I'm trying to find a way of fitting 2 x saddles, 1 x patterdale terrier sized dog crate, and various other bits like riding boots, hat, bridles etc in the boot of my mitsubishi (shogun sport) neatly, and struggling!
Currently have saddles one on top of the other on a stubbs plastic 'saddle mate' (like this http://www.4dobbin.com/p-Saddle-Mate-Stubbs.html?utm_source=google&utm_medium=gmc) but they slip around on it (has to be angled - won't fit with saddle facing front because of dog cage).
I know I should get a life and worry about something important, but I'd like to have a nice, tidy and organised car!
So, my latest great idea is to get a dog guard, not for dog but to hang a portable saddle rack off (like this one http://www.equishopping.co.uk/item-totallytack1508.htm), so saddles can be neatly at the back of the boot off the floor, leaving lots of room for a nice big box to keep all my other stuff tidy.
Can anyone recommend a dog guard that would be sturdy enough for this?
Or has anyone got any better ideas for my clobber? Have to have crate for dog, and have to keep tack in car as no space in house and not secure at yard.
Thank you muchly in advance for any help!....
