Anyone from Birmingham? Help please

I have a friend (21) at uni in Birmingham and she has enough time spare in the week to get a job with horses (she is very experienced, great rider, gutsy, hard working and lovely to have around). She is hoping for something for 2 days a week.

Her problem is finding where to look for adverts for staff - we are in Sussex and down here we would look in the Friday-Ad, local riding mags, tack shops etc, but she can't find anything up there.

Can anyone point her in the right direction as to what 'mags', websites, tack shops she might try please?

She's going to google livery yards (doesn't really want to work in a riding school), and racing yards but any ideas greatly received.

Has she use of a car,because most place are out of brum,i am Halesowen way,which is a bout 8 miles out of Brum,
Romsley country store,has a web site,also tel 01562 710586.they occasionally have job ads,just ring them and if there not to busy will probley read them off the notice board for her,lol

I'd def get her to go and have a look in Jackie Roberts- their notice board is excellent- there's all sorts on there! There's Central Horse News (magazine) that she could try, most tack shops and some newsagents seem to stock it. There's a new tack shop in Droitwich called Horsatack (bit of a distance from B-Ham though) that may have a notice board for ad's. Their number is 01905 777 960 if she wanted to give them a call and find out if they difinitley do. The noticeboard at Solihull RC may have some job ads on there too. Thats not too far away from B-Ham at all. I'm in the Kinver area so the others i know are a bit far out i would think but will add to this if i think of any more.
