Anyone from Coventry know this evil co*?

I'm so sad reading all the RIP and sad news posts that I can't bear to click on the link, but judging by the replies I can only imagine what has happened.

People who harm animals are evil, no less. What on earth makes them think they have the right to inflict pain and suffering on an innocent creature?

These people sicken me. :(

The cat is OK, a woman stopped to stroke a cat ona wall, picked it up and chucked it into a wheelie bin, where it was stuck for 15 hours

She's probably sick of cats digging up her flower bed or something stupid but thats a cruel thing to do! Looks like such a friendly cat too!

OMG what an evil bitch . That really was the last thing i expected to see from a middle aged what looked like respectable woman. How wrong.. glad they had cctv.

OMG, what an evil thing to do to an animal, how could she stand and stroke it so nicely knowing she was going to do that to it! I hope they catch her and plaster her name all over the papers, she looked like she SHOULD be a respectable person. Evil Co*

I hope she feels ashamed. Hopefully everyone local now knows who she is and will give her abuse. I'm glad it wasn't bin collection day, things could have been much worse.

it's the casual way she did it that shocked me, almost as if she'd simply picked up a sweet wrapper and popped it in a bin. the cat is clearly friendly in the way it approached her and as she 'petted' it, if she hates cats so much why not just keep walking? i just dont get it (actually i dont want to 'get it' as that'd make me as bad as her)

it was on the main BBC news tonight tho so hopefully someone will name and shame her

That was disgraceful. I Would like to have a chat with the old hag in a locked room, then maybe she would think twice. Thank god for the cctv, so hopefully catch the old witch!

Well I never! Disgusting and bizarre...looks like a normal type person, handbag on arm etc, going about her daily stuff... And then just 'pops' the cat in the bin.

Sure she will be found and hopefully accordingly punished...shows you can trust no-one!

Well yes, whipping up a lynch mob is always the way forward.

Identifying her to the Police would be such a dull thing to do by comparison

What an odd thing to do.

She must be unwell.

Agreed. Not sticking up for her but I find it very strange, as others have said she starts off stroking her and then just drops her in the bin. Perhaps she has mental problems. I don't think it's the worst thing I've ever seen.

*runs and hides before lynch mob practices on me*

I saw that on the news last night and was horrified, shame the cat was so friendly, and did not claw her to shreds when she picked lola up.
Hope someone informs on her as it looks like she was in work clothes,

No but I wish I did. Looks like such casual sadism the way she did this and in broad daylight in a fairly busy area too.

Don't know her, but obviously must live quite close/work quite close as she's walking on foot with a bag.

Silly woman, she might just have a think for punishing cats? but that cat did nothing wrong bless it!!

Thats why my 2 kittens are staying indoor cats. I had a lovely cat that was so friendly and he went outside. One day there was a group of kids camping in the field behind my house, and one of them kicked him so hard he lost the use of his back legs, he sadly died.
I was told by a neigbour what had happened and he bullocked the kids (drunk) before they packed up and went home. I was out at the time so didnt get the chance to have ago myself.
Bear in mind I live in the middle of no-where, we have no passing cars- I live down the end of a dead end lane, theres only 5 other houses down the lane and every house has got cats.
Its sad but what can you do. When taking on my kittens from the cats protection they said I have an ideal house, but when i told them what had happened, they said they dont blame me for keeping mine in.
