Hey, moving to leeds in a few months, just wondered if anyone from around there BSJA's or BE's?

And if anyone could recommend a good vet and farrier?

I should be moving my horse to the Rothwell area if that helps, Thankyou
 
Hey, I'm from leeds. Are you moving the horse to Swithens? It's where Roo came from. We are in Swillington so very close.
I can't help on the BSJA or BE side as I don't compete.
But my vet is ledston vets, they are really good, and we have Harland farrier.

I have James Canning farrier from Wakefield. Cant rate him high enough. Patient, punctual and very good at his job.
 
We use the Equine Veterinary Centre, Moorhouses as vets and John Firth for farriers (he's a training farrier so has a few of his now qualified ex students working under his umbrella - we have Mark who is very good).

Can't help with BSJA or BE but if you fancy trying some long distance riding I'm on the West Riding Endurance GB committee - www.westridingegb.co.uk We're a small and friendly group of nutters and you'd be more than welcome at our rides.
 
I am from north Leeds (towards Wetherby) so not really in the same area, but I do BSJA and used to BE a little (costs prohibitive for me this year though).

BSJA wise theres Moorhouse EC, Westfield Park EC, and Manor Grange that all have BSJA. First two have indoors, last one is outdoors. There are plenty more in Yorkshire, but those are the closest for you I think

Aw brilliant thankyou, im abit funny with farriers and have to have a good farrier.. had far too many bad experiences!

Yes hopefully.. fingers crossed im moving him to swithens farm of theres a stable free
