There are dozens of slate mines in Wales. Come on got to be more specific about location and REASON for this post ... otherwise with all the thefts and suspicions this is a very odd request.

there are hundreds of slate mines in wales, are you meaning north or south wales, west or east wales?
I'm near some slate mines but havent got a clue about any horses or why horses and slate mines are mentioned in the same post!

im only asking the question as my mare and foal were abandoned there with 2 other mares and a stallion. they were taken in as rescue cases. .. all im doing is trying to find out some history on them....ive asked quetions when i bought them . but only got very little back as they wasnt 100% sure..
