Anyone from North Yorks that could help?

My 30 odd yr old cob is very hot and hairy, i've normally clipped him before now but have been twarted with problems.
Shop lost my blades, and now my battery charger has died and I have to order one which will take 6+ weeks direct from supplier as the style has now changed.
He is melting in the heat, could anyone come clip him?
Willing to pay but need someone with cordless clippers as no electric and all the people I can think of only seem to have electric ones.
Harrogate area, would be eternally grateful.

Unfortunately only have electric clippers I'm afraid. Have you looked in equine services section of Yorkshire Post or anything like? Maybe try googling - I think there are a few people offering clipping services. You may have to take him somewhere with electric though.

Maybe someone at Yorkshire Riding Centre could do him for you?

I would offer but i am allergic to horses (although have some immunity to my own and HATE clipping in general - have to do mine this week though)

Unfortunately I only have electric clippers, I have some battery trimmers but i don't think they'd manage a clip!
