Anyone from the Tyne and Wear Area.....??

Don't post very often but you all seem to know loads of helpful information so I was wondering if anyone knows of any good riding schools that they could recommend around the newcastle area. There are so many but I would rather go to one that has been recommended.

I haven't ridden in well over a year now when I had to give up my horse due to lack of finances curtosy of University

and I was hoping someone would be able to recommend a decent riding school, with instructors who are nice but fairly strict where I could work on my position and progress onto jump work.

I am actually pretty close to the centre of Newcastle but I do have a car so I can travel.

You could try Stepney Bank Stables which is near the centre of Newcastle, just under Byker bridge. It's BHS approved with nice instructors and horses and a good indoor arena. It's a charity which supports disadvantaged children but has a commercial side for riders of any age. For more details phone 0191 2615544

sorry i can only think or rubbish places. i used to love watching (the stables) that was at stepney bank stables lol im so sad
