I did :D and it was such good fun, can you tell its the first one i've been on!
I do now have a blister on my hand though from Mystic pulling but we did have control and he behaved, didn't mind that when we were suppose to be walking he jogged (only slow though so stayed with friends but bouncy for me )
Jumped all the jumps aswell, I imagine i am going to ache tomorrow, but its all worth it :)
Oh and after my last post i decided to have my stirrups at my jumping length which was fine.

Anyone else go?
Hope everyone has had a good bank holiday monday :)

We did :D I kept an eye out for you but we didnt set out til 12 o'clock, so I expect you were a long way ahead of us!

Wasnt it an amazing ride! Ellie absolutely loved it - I've never been on a ride with so many well built jumps! We did pretty much every fence except the weird line of four after the 2nd photographer's fence....which itself was a bit hairy, as Ellie put in a massive leap then pecked as the ground was bad on landing! LOL :D

Glad you had a good time, the weather was ace :) I'm aiming for the next one now on 26th September, as I believe the route is different!

We set off around that time too, later than we planned, i was with 3 others but i don't think i saw you.

It was a really good ride, wish i had fields like that near me to hack in
Mystic ran out at that line of four at first so i turned him round then he did the last two so tried again and he did all four but the striding was a bit weird.
The next one is a different route i think but not sure if i will be going as may have a show that day, too many things on at once!

How was Ellie, was she a bit fizzy like you thought she would be? Wonder when the photos will be online :D

It was near Melksham I think :) Last minute decision yesterday lol, friend was going so I went with her. I would have taken Bust but he's had a fat leg over the weekend so didn't want to take him :( Which was a shame as there were tonnes of jumps and hunt fences to jump! :(

But Hairy was awesome, his first time out anywhere bless him! Was a complete dude and 110% gentleman.
Jumped a few jumps -the rustic ones and a couple of roll tops and got a lead over a bigger log at the end. Had a pyramid jump that I could not get him over, tried as hard as I possibly could but just wasn't happening lol. We half jumped it in the end, so left it at that as it just wasn't happening lol. Wasn'tplanning on jumping much with him anyway in all fairness, as he's not exactly built to be a jumping machine bless him!

She wasnt too bad - it helped that there was that little line of logs at the start to chill her out a bit, although she put in massive great baby leaps over each one! Glad you had a good time - and you, Binky! Everyone at the yard said the Neston ride was fab :D

Cheers :D

I got there quite late, we set off just before 1 as was having lorry troubles going haha.

Seemed so much longer than 9 miles though! Tytherton didn't seem as long and that was 15 or something lol.
We did it in about 2 hours just over, but didn't really push it nor jump everything and dithered about on the smaller jumps doing them a few times instead :)

Glad you had fun too! :D

I am very jealous you got photographers at Barbury....I went last year and there wasnt any photos :( :( but stunning stunning ride. am dead jealous, have got a broken horsey at the moment, and that was the best ride I did last season :(
