anyone going on the haningfield sponserd ride tomas

I've done it for about the last 5 years. It's a pretty good ride, although last year was a lot shorter than normal due to the timing and crops growing in fields that are usually used (apparently, not sure if that was true). Hopefully it will be back up to distance tomorrow!

We go in a group of about 8, we do a lot of rides (one a week at the moment), and our horses are pretty chilled and used to it now. You do get the odd group that come haring past you or up behind you, but the majority are polite and ask if they can pass and then walk past before going faster again!

There are usually some quite nice jumps, but they tend to be right at the start so you aren't really warmed up - mind you, Marnie and I keep our feet firmly on the ground
