Possibly a bit of a long-shot as it's a fairly "specialised" show, but is anyone going to the BAPSH (British Association for the Purebred Spanish Horse) show at Hartpury at the weekend? I am going on the Sunday to ogle at all the pretty ponies

and to wish I could afford one!
Will I see any other HHOers there, watching or competing?

Not going this year as my lad is a mere Register IV part bread and so not allowed this year

Hope they can get things sorted out so we can go next year.
But two from my yard are going and I hope they do well.
The association needs more volunteers to get the show back up to the level it was last year, but here's hoping as they really are a nice bunch of people and last years show was the most fun I've had in ohh 16 years of competing?
Enjoy.

Ditto polar-bear.

I have a pure bred and a Spanish-Norman. I was particularly keen to take my Spanish- Norman this year and was going to take the pure bred along to do some jumping as an after-thought.

Was bitterly disappointed to discover no part-bred classes this year so now I'm not even going as a spectator either.

Poooo Bah Sucks to BAPSH for cutting the partbred classes.

If they do this next year how are we "fanatical part bred owners to get our boys out and shown on the best public forum we have!

BAPSH. Pull ur socks up and get it right next year!!!!!

I was a bit disappointed that there will be no part-breds, but I haven't ever been before so I really wanted to go for a first time. If I join BAPSH who knows, maybe I'll be helping next year

Nice to know I'm not the only "Iberian Freak"

It was a good weekend but classes had to be cut due to a lack of support and volunteers...next year maybe with alot more help all the original classes can be run again

I was there (sorry missed your post) I did not take anything this year but had volunteered.

I started with partbreds and, although mine are now purebreds, I thought it was very sad that they had dropped the partbred classes, but I have it on good authority that they will be back next year.

I am particularly excited that the new ANNCE rules mean that mares can now do the functionaility, does this mean that the spanish have realised that mares can be ridden/competed just as much as the stallions - yippeee! At long last!
