Anyone going to Cannock Chase EGB ride next month?

Anyone going to the Cannock Chase Endurance GB ride next month?

I've been on a ride up there with Sport Endurance, but not been to the EGB one before, if anyone has been before do you think it will be a suitable ride for a youngsters first time out?

I might do. My horse has been off all season and I'm really hoping he'll be ready for a few rides before it finishes. Which ones depend very much on if, and when he's 100% happy in work and Cannock is one of the possibilities.

I've not done this ride before even though it is one of the easy ones for me to get to so I couldn't really say if it would be good for a young horse, but IIRC its one that isn't supposed to have much, if any, road work.

Thanks I think the Sport Endurance ride I went on had 1 road crossing, but don't know if they take the same route as EGB or not. Only planning on doing the short ride as it will be her first.
