not read it all though... do you ave to take your own horses?
xx

Ooooooooh this looks exciting - trying to justify the price in my head. Did an adult camp in Sept @ Polly Glovers Farm in Hants and it was the most fun ever....

(trots off to tell DraytonsBarney)

Just looked on the website. It looks great. Wish I had the money and transport to go. I'm jealous! Might save up for next year.

I like that WINE is written like that as an essential for yourself

it is

I know, it just amuses me that they do to - they know exactly what horse riders are like

Pony club camp for adults, usually populated by those who couldn't go as kids (like me, such a deprived child

) who want to pretend they're 12 again

But with the added bonus of being able to drink - in fact, WINE is listed as an essential, lol

Or for those of us who went religiously as kids and like to pretend we never left!! Wine was an essential then too though - it's not quite the same not not having to sneak the booze in though

I was looking at their site. Do you think I could just tag a couple of days on before the March camp on the 'holiday' option ? 5 days after that trip would be a bit better wouldn't it ?

How far/long does everyone else have to travel ?

If you do that, I will take an extra couple of days off and ride with you

LizzieJ, I'm definatey interested. I will just discuss the journey with my Yard Manager tomorrow as my horse, Tucker can occassionally get a little unsettled when travelling. If she thinks he'll be ok then I'll phone Stockland Lovell and figure out the best way to organise this. I love riding camps and this would be a great way to kick off the Winter blues.

The hacking is pretty good - you can ride over the whole farm

I could put you up if it is expensive although only have spare fields not stables. Am only minutes away though

Anyone? Is 15 (and a half by then...) too young? couldnt find anything about age on the site... or is it common knowledge?

i will be on the verge of buying new horse then (

) and would like to finish on a bang...
