Sadly, my Easter w/e is already busy, otherwise I would have gone.
GOOD FRIDAY - Lambourn Open Day. Many yards open to the public in the morning and country show in the afternoon. Jockeys puissance, as well, which is usually hilarious. Three years ago AP McCoy was put on a horse that refused to leave the others and we named it Deanos Beano. Jim Culloty won it on a really smart liver chestnut.
EASTER MONDAY - Old Berks Hunt Point-to-Point. Terrier racing, pony racing, ferrets. Parade of Hounds etc. Lots of decent trade stands, bar, food, funfair & plenty of bookies.
