Anyone going to the Golden Horseshoe?

Exford, Exmoor, West Somerset - It has been held here for years - an absolute nightmare for the village because there's literally hundreds of people and horses and they all have to stay in the village!

I wish i was, but i live waaaaaay too far away. Plus iv got my final uni exams on monday and wednesday, so really should be revising!

for some reason i thought it was in south wales. There is a ride there but cant remember what its called
 
I'm coming! Have come several times before to spectate and love it. We are booked into the Crown. Am not riding, but several people from our local endurance group of taking part - no one in the 80/80 class, but some in the 80/40 and in the 40/40. Last time I came 4 of the riders crossed the line together to win gold awards after riding 100 miles across Exmoor in 2 days - what an achievement

There are seven Scots going down but sadly I'm not one of them. Four doing the Horseshoe and three scattered amongst the other classes. Fingers crossed for all of them.

Llewyn's mummy - the ride you're thinking of is probably the Red Dragon at Builth Wells, in October.
 
If I go and have a look on the Sunday I might put a sticker on my coat with HHO in big letters - then if you see me you can say hello - or not as the case may be!!
