I have a 4yr, huge boat of thing. Lovely laid back temp but very idle.
Don't expect it to show much this season but hoping it might shape up into a nice 6yr old.
It's nice to know of some other by him. I regularly keep tabs on the NH horses over the winter who are by him and have been known to have a flutter. Think mine falls nearer to the idle mark but can surprise us now and again! He's so good to handle in and out of the stable and apart from a bit of a fidget with the farrier I have nothing bad to say about him. My daughter lost interest earlier this year and I have taken over the ride - would love to go hunting again and I think he might be just the job.
I have a lovely 16hh mare by him, very forward and honest loves jumping and hunting. A bit quirky! Picky about who she lets ride her but good as gold for me. Very strong willed but so loving and affectionate, always looks after me. She can get herself in a tizz sometimes, more doing flatwork, not really naughtiness, i think its a bit of insecurity but so confident over a jump. Had her for 2 years, will keep her forever, wish i had found her sooner. Such a character x
I have ridden quite a few by him. Most are quite quirky but the quiet one's are very easy. Very genuine horses though and most of them have a good pop on them! They seem pretty tough as well!
She's got some jump on her, and she really enjoys it. I can point her at anything, even with an awful shot and she attacks it. Shes such a comfy ride. Shes as hard as nails.
Would love to find some foal pics of her and find out what shes done previous to her coming to me x
I have just bought an off the track 7yr old by Flemensfirth. He's currently having a month off to have a break but has been quiet to handle, had a little plod on him when I viewed him and he travelled like a dream/was very chilled out having just moved yards. Excited to start riding him!
