I love these saddles and owned them before so I jumped at the chance of getting a dressage saddle second hand

Does anyone know what the stamped number means thats on the saddle flaps? theres 2 2 digit ones and a longer 4 digit number

Just curious really lol

You have got me wondering now..... I have a new made to measure Morris and Nolan GP but haven’t noticed any numbers which means either they are not there or i haven’t cleaned it well enough and they are hidden...

Oops, i will have to look when i go down the yard.

Maybe it is a size reference or a serial number if mine has one I will ask my saddler about it.

lol, thanks. its right at the bottom on the flap , very visible. This is a scandinavian made one so maybe thats different to the UK ones. Not sure

Maybe, mine is definitely UK made. Mine is a made to measure on a 19" tree so might be slightly different.

I have a M&N pony saddle, think the style is called the Connemara or something. I think they're great saddles, well I love mine and that's what I judge the make on. Mine's 6 years old but can't say I've spotted any numbers on the flap even when I got it at 3 months old and in brand new condition (looking a bit well worn now!). But I'll have a proper look tomorrow.
