Anyone got a Ssangyong Rexton if so good or bad experience?

Has anyone got a Ssangyong rexton, if so is it any good for towing? What is it like to drive and would you recommend.

these cars are brilliant, fantastic value for money, they are very well made, great for towing, reliable. Get one! cant big them up enough!

sorry they similar to a merc 4x4 to drive, very nice, not as nice as a range rover to drive but nice enough!

We were dealing with a claim before Christmas. The garage were trying to get parts which were very expensive when they finally found them so in the end wrote it off due to the cost. The insured then bought it back and drives it round still damaged.

We didn't have a Rexton, but a predecessor SSangyong 4x4. I would totally agree with above poster. We had to sell our vehicle as the parts were unbelievably expensive. £800 for exhaust, similar for water pump (and not including labour). Fortunately our resourceful local garage managed to cobble together some Merc parts (not identical) as we couldn't even buy the proper Ssangyong ones as there was a shipping problem (at least 3 months). I couldn't take the stress any more so got rid! I would hope that they've improved, they are a fab tow vehicle and get rave reviews. I would not buy one again unless I knew parts situation was improved.
