Anyone got any snow yet?!

I think the horses can smell the snow. It was raining when I arrived at the yard and the fields are sopping wet, so gave all mine a nice lot of hay and started doing stables. Then it dried up and the sun came out so put my mare out for a leg stretch. That lasted about 15 mins before she was careering around in the mud and yelling to come in!! All the horses in the surrounding fields are yelling too, and nothing looks like it wants to be out in the icy wind. Brought mine back in and she was more than happy to be back in the comfort of her stable. Hopefully there won't be an evil wind tomorrow!!
 
Beautiful day here the sun is quite warm too. We have had one short rain shower and it has been lovely since even rode on the fields today as it is so dry. Not expecting much in the way of snow until tomorrow night
 
We have had a pathetic amount, been on the ground since Christmas, barely ankle deep :mad:

Rained yesterday and now I have sheet ice and slush, yippee. I am not a happy camper.

Even the plow drivers have time to stop and chat.

Good day here - just a bit cold. Had a lovely long hack. Think it is due to snow here tomorrow so that may have been my last hack for a while.
 
We haven't had any snow yet just buckets and buckets of rain! Such a shame after the brief period of lovely weather we have been having recently in Sussex.
 
I think today is the first time this winter I have driven to Buxton and seen the sky not horrible grey mist. Lovely day, but a bit cold.

I am lucky we are protected from East wind on our land, so ponies very happy in sunshine!

Oh for goodness sake it's only a bit of snow not the apocolypse. They do that with the petrol scares as well I think.

It's been a glorious sunny morning here in Hampshire with just a light breeze. It's clouding over now and as it is only about 2 degrees I think we will get snow soon.
 
Its funny when there's snow forecast for England (especially London), on TV you'd think it was the end of the world! We get much worse snow up here! Right now its a blizzard outside, so much for going BSJA'ing today! Dont think it'll amount to much though - better not as I have a SJ lesson on Wednesday!

So true you guys get tons! I want to move to the South of England it seems so much better there weather wise than what we have.

We had a sprinkle this morning and its been on and off all day. Currently on but I don't think its going to lie despite it being big flakes.
 
Woke up to a light dusting but been snowing since about 8am, varying between very fine snow and big flakes but amounts to only just over an inch. We are quite high but i think the fun stuff is tomorrow morning. Also SNEC cancelled their dressage so guess it is bad in West Lothian as Livingston area can get it bad sometimes.
