Hi

Yes I know Daggers Drawn is not a French TB,

Currently looking at a Little TB for sale that is by Daggers Drawn out of a French Mare, Another Mans cause.

Do not know much about either of above, he is a well put together little TB, with what seems to be a very laid back nature.

But trying to work out whether Daggers drawn offspring or french TB's tend to be of the more good doing TB's or whether he is going to be prone to losing lots of weight. Also are they normally quite wimpy? I know each horses is different, just wondered what your experiences with them were?

I have a french TB - very laid back with a very kind nature. He is a good doer but I haven't brought him through a winter yet. Former NH and p2p'er and very brave.

it depends on the horse, not the country they are born in.
we've had french tb's and they are as varied in health, temprement etc as any other countrys tb's.
If the horse looks good, behaves well, suits you, then get it!

I used to ride a daggers drawn mare, she was very sensitive but not v mareish. Would give you the world but if she was feeling any bit 'off' i.e twinged a muscle etc. She would react v strongly. I loved her, so willing to please.
