We are snowed in, it is freezing, the horses are fed up and so am I!!

Sooo.... treked into town and have bought a load of fleece to attempt to make the horses some hoods as it is freezing up the yard.

Does anyone have a Snuggy hood or similar and if so would you pretty please be able to take some photos of it flat on the floor or similar so I can estimate the pattern I need to use and I would be even more appreciative of some measurements (16.1hh and 14.1hh horses) if anyone else is as bored as I am!

Many thankies in advance!

I've got a proper Snuggy hood, and then a fake fleece hood and a thermatex one in varying sizes I won't be able to do it until tonight if no one else comes back to you.

DizzyDancer - they only say which one of their sizes (s,m,l etc) corresponds to horse size, sadly no measurements :(

If I could get the car out it wouldn't be a problem as I could wizz up and down to measure, tac, check etc but with a 30min walk each way in the freezing cold with a distinct chance of ending up on my backside I am going to avoid that as much as possible!

Hellsbells - oh, if no-one else comes up with pics etc that would be great, thankyou!

Sorry can't help on the measurements, but thought I would show you my attempt at one earlier in the year to keep plaits clean (I found the tight ones flattened them!). I only needed to sew from under the nose to the chest. Admittedly, not perfect but I am still proud! And it does the job perfect all for £2!

No laughing at him...the fabric was on offer! :D

That's nothing...my 2yo's got a bargain basement Sleezy Sleepwear one from the states which is black with yellow stars and lightning flashes...everyone calls him Harry Potter, especially with his gorgeous eyes staring out from the eyeholes as if he was wearing round glasses!

My 14hh NF had a fleece snuggyhood and a turnout hood. He was a medium

they are very helpful. If you give them a ring they will prob be able to advise you which size.

I'll try and upload some photos later if I can find some
