I've seen them at very reasonable prices- as we have 5 horses. i am sorry but they cant all have Rambos..after the rain of the last few days i can be certain that Amigo 600D, Loveson,Premier Equine(got 6 in total, all different fabrics bought at different times, linings vary 70g,40g and coolmax) all leak like fishnet tights :( Bucas smartex is fab but too ££ to buy another 4 all at once..
or perhaps someone can suggest a lightweight- ideally between 40 and 100g thats less than £40 regular or high neck,no neckcover required. Not a fan of Masta rugs or weatherbeeta freestyle (love the original fit though) The Fal Slumberdown tick the boxes but dont seem available anymore

I bought the 50g 1200d one but have just sent it back as it didn't fit my horse properly, although the length was fine and the rug is nice and deep, was too tight round the shoulders. Lovely rug though, nice quality, I'm a bit gutted because it was great in every other way and cheap too.

DarkleyDreaming, I saw them advertised in Horse and Hound and wondered about them.
But can I just say, we cant really afford the expensive Rambo and Fal, so we have Wheatherbeeta. Ive just fetched Jack in its been torential rain all day, he has been out in his heavy weight weatherbeeta combo(integrated neck) its now about 4 years old, the rug was drenched but horse completly bone dry, and it was about £79.99 when new, so all in all cant complain at price or quality.

Ooo these are near me.. I saw them at a show recently, they were really nice people and the rugs are great. They are going to start making smaller sizes too as we were looking for pony sizes. :D

I am very jelous - where are they based? do they have a shop you can visit to look at rugs or is it online only?

I purchased 2 off Ebay- next day delivery too :) the pale blue/navy 100gm and the navy with reflective stripes 50g one. They have both been out in torrential rain with no leaks/rubs/slipping. The 100g is a snugger fit on the cobs but the 50g is perfect and nice & deep too. I will definately buy another 2 of the 50g, especially at £33 each :D
re weatherbeeta, i used to be a very loyal customer but the freestyle is such an appalling fit on all 5 of mine plus work had 11 horses wearing them and they were all dreadful so i stopped buying them. Now they have relaunched the "original" fit i have purchased the 200g landa and 300g orican combos and have been delighted with them. The new Taka 400g will have to wait for a lottery win

Saw these at HOYS, like the price and the fact that you can get a l/w with a small amount of filling for a very reasonable price, still deciding if to buy one or not.

How would you compare the fit to Amigos? Amigos fit my boy like a glove but disappointed with my 600d l/w. I like PE rugs but too deep for him. Masta and Mark Todd are too big around the shoulders.

The fit is similar to Amigo, definately snugger than PE. The straps are adjustable too :)

I recently bought a fleece and a lightweight stable which I use for layering from them and they fit my 17hh 3yo hano really well they are nice and generous they also fit my 16.2 Dutch warmblood really well im really pleased with them I haven't tried the t/os as I don't need anymore ATM but if the quality is the same as the indoor rugs they should be really good!
