how heavy is 300 grams? middleweight, heavyweight?

and anyone got rugs from derby house? are they good quality etc?

I would say 300g is heading onto HW. 400g proper HW though

I would never use anything over 300g but I'm in the sub-tropical South.

I ordered mine today

Never had a DH rug before though, but it seems a v reasonable price.

My fully clipped cob will be wearing it in the field in Winter, and when it gets really cold and he's stabled he'll have a fleece underneath it if he needs it.
