My horse has one and they are absolutey gorgeous. Hes brown and white and so it really suits him. My grey mare has a similar one in burgundy but thats made by Comfort Zone and fastens at the front with clips rather than buckles. The Mark Todd one is a very similar rug, it really suits him.
Aha! An actual owner of one! What is the inside of it like? Is it just like a very thick fleece only made of two layers and would you say they are a generous fit?
Got mine (brown/cream) from Throstle Nest Saddlery and it cost £44.95 and I use as a day rug in the stable. Would also look lovely as a show rug if thats what you want it for.
Just seen your query, its quite thick fleece and would say the fit is about normal, mines a 6'6. Fits well over the withers and is absolutely beautiful. Love it and had many a comment about how nice it looks.
