Only problem i found was that the filling seperates over the hind quater area, I have had this happen to 2 rugs, but both rugs were in there 4th 5th season, and they do get used as stable rugs too by just turning the necks back, so I highly recommend them, good value for money, also fit cobs quite good too
I got one for my Maxi last year and wasn't thrilled with the fit but it was better then a lot of others I have tried. He also managed to rip it a fair bit and break off surcingales but that is probably just my boy!
Would also like to add the rips the he did make were like how you would get in tights and nothing too big and scarey! This is from the horse who has been found a few times with rugs in pieces all around him both in and out of the stable!
I have them for my 16.3 who is a TBxID and it fits him well and also for my 12.2 who is narrow in the shoulder and it fits her well too!
My boy is a little 'heavy' on his rugs and so far he hasn't managed to break it in the 2 years he has had it, mind you he doesn't wear it an awful lot as we don't turn out in the winter.
I have a maxi cob and he has two of these rugs, they are a good fit and are excellent in all weathers. My boy has torn them occasionally but this is just down to him... he will rip/tear anything!
I only buy weatherbeeta, i've got orican high neck that i had for about 6 years! It the old style (not freestyle) but still does its job v well when it's very cold (heavy one), never leaks etc! I also have a landa original (medium weight) and landa lite plus lite neck rug which i use with las 2 rugs which are both freestyle ones. The freestyle have great tail flaps, they are huge!! Really keeps the drafts out! Also have a couple of fleeces. Just would say, have you looked at the taka? Equestrian clearance web site have a sale on them you can save upto £100! Mind you they have a sale on the orican combo too.
