Hi

Thinking of sending my 5 yo to her whilst I'm injured and out of the saddle. Does anyone have any experience of her and what she is like with young horses.

My boy has had a bit of time off due to my injury so really needs to do alot of fittening and strenghtening work so wouldn't want him rushed just so he can be sent home looking pretty?

Or any other recommendations for schooling livery in Essex?

Thanks

I worked for Edie a few years ago. Lovely yard, great horsewoman and she has the most wicked sense of humour.

She did all the training and schooling of the youngsters / problem horses herself and staff handled under her supervision

I happily went back once I'd left her employment to have lessons on my own horse with her.

I do know of someone who wasn't happy about how her horse was there, but that is the only bad thing I've ever heard, everything else has been all positive.

Twirly - Thanks for the reply. Do you know why the person wasn't happy. PM if you prefer. Thanks

Would strongly recommend Simone Ward, especially for young horses, she has a website simonewarddressage.com. Goodluck!
