Hi, i have just started the process in persuit of a refund for a horse sold unfit for purpose. i have sent my paper work to the legal people but just wondering how long the whole process takes and whether you actually have to stand and give evidence in court?

We were in the process of taking a dealer to court but he realised he had no case and made a rund without having to go through court.

The problem we found was that the money we would have got back or the horse probably wouldn't have covered the fees etc so we wer eglad he refunded. I was told that I at the time did not have to give evidence in court as it is given before hand unless in extreme cases or your case progresses further.

Any video evidence of the horse would be helpful as well and if you got the horse vetted and the vet said the horse was fit to purpose you will have a stronger case

Best of luck I know how you must feel! :)
