my lower leg position isnt as good as it could be and i thought this might help. what are your thoughts on this??

Bailing twine is just as effective.

I was thinking about this myself today, as i will want to start jumping as soon as my field dries up and when i jump my lower leg goes back, but think i will use bailer twine rather than spend money.

what sort of length do you make the baler twine? and is it safe tho, if you fall off?

Just enough to keep your leg secure. Yes it should snap if you fall off, i.e why you tie horses to bailing twine.

My son is currently working for Tim Stockdale and he has to ride as much as possible without stirrups to improve his lower leg. Its tough though.
