Anyone had bounce issues with Kieffer saddles?

We bought a Kieffer Garmisch saddle for our 16.1hh Irish Sports horse a couple of months ago but have recently noticed there is some bounce to the rear when riding (i watch my daughter ride so can see from all angles). It was properly fitted by a saddler but I am mindful that our horse has not yet turned 7, so is still changing shape.

Has anyone else had experience of this with these saddles please? Also, I have heard they are adjustable - is this true?

Thanks very much for any advice/comments, gratefully received! :)

What do you mean by 'bounce' issues? The back of the saddle rising up and down? If so, this would suggest that the saddle no longer fits properly... you might need it re-flocked or you might need a new saddle ;) either way, a good saddle fitter is required :)

Nothing to do with the brand at all (unless the synthetic tree has spread, unlikely but possible) but to do with the fit of the saddle and the changing shape of the horse. Saddles rock or lift at the back in rising trot for one of two reasons - too wide (or too low through lack of flocking at the front) or too curvy in tree or panel. The first is fixable with a tree adjustment, the second may or may not be fixable with flocking.

Typically a new saddle's flocking will settle making it effectively too wide at the front - many new saddles need a flocking top up pretty quickly. Hopefully this is the case for you.

No, but I did have a stirrup bar fall off one mid gallop once, to be fair it was an ancient old comfy saddle so I was gutted when it finally got beyond repair.
