As per title really. We are considering this inside the box (not the ramp), as we have done a chassis swap and need to drop weight. We currently have a lot of really thick heavy rubber matting on the floor and walls so this could be an option. Opinions welcome!

I had a pick up done with it and it was fantastic and took a lot of abuse.. however have you considerd EVA mats??? they are much lighter than normal rubber and cheaper than sprayed in linings..

I've had it since October 2011.
it's not cracked or warped and it's taken some abuse as one of mine didn't travel well and took it out on the interior
the horses haven't had any issues with slipping.

I have pictures from when it was done if you want them.

Pictures would be great!

Can I just ask do you thick this coating or EVA boards will cope with a heavy set 17.1 who is determined to put his foot through my wagon wall? The mats although heavy have saved my box and him from serious damage.

I would guess you would need something strong like aluminum sheet or phenol ply in the kick area then AVA Glued on to it or the sprayed on coating , the EVA in about 20 mm thick should absorb most of the energy and reduce the chance of the horse getting injured..

Thanks everyone some useful info there. Thanks blood_magik for the photo links, looks like a great box!

Unfortunately the trim, interior and respray are now on hold after picking it up this weekend only to find water coming through the lining of the cab roof and pouring down the inside of the cab windscreen! Back to the coachbuilder for now to put it right, never had a leak anywhere before so not best pleased.

Hi we've been looking at this for our little van conversion to try and save some weight. It all sounds fab but I cant find any prices anywhere? Could anyone whos had it done possibly let me know the rough cost so I know whether it is a viable option for us?
Thanks x

Ah ok thank, I've already emailed the Coat-X team directly and I'm just waiting for a response :D, just being impatient.
Thanks,
Alex
