Anyone had dealings with the VDS?

Hi

Just wondering if anyone has had to file a claim against the VDS and how long it took you to get your money out of them? The reason for my claim is because I bought a horse after it passed a five stage vetting, which it really shouldn't have passed. The vets have admitted that they made a big mistake, but the VDS are just ignoring me. I gave them six weeks to respond and have now filed a claim through the small claims court.

I'd contact the vets responsible and ask them to give the VDS a reminder. VDS are normally pretty good at paying up as far as I am aware, but I'm not sure how long it generally takes.
