Anyone had delays from Equi Supermarket?

As per my thread about finding something Hermosa will eat, I took a punt and bought Saracens Re-Leve mix from Equi-Supermarket, because they had it at the best price, with free shipping if I added something else to the order (which I needed anyway). Ordered it March 1st and no word. I emailed yesterday asking about an update to the status of the order. No answer. Tried phoning today but no one picking up the phones.

I know in the day and age of Amazon Prime, we are far too used to things showing up at record speed. But 10 days and not even a status update seems like it's going too far the other way. Is this pretty normal for this company?

I had a similar experience with them. Took my money and then heard nothing. I chased them up for a while and eventually got most of my order delivered. I won’t be using them again.

I bought from them for the first time last December. Purchased 16 December. No order confirmation. On 23 December Yodel emailed to say the parcel was on its way. Delivered 24 December. I thought the delay was due to volume of Christmas deliveries but maybe not.

I don’t think they actually keep much stock. So when you order they then order from their suppliers and the whole process takes longer. They are cheaper probably because of this. Whilst in my experience it arrives eventually, I didn’t like the lack of information and the inability to contact them / no reply.

As if by magic, it appeared with Yodel yesterday. So things do show up. You just have no idea when.

If my horse eats the stuff, I might have to look for another place that sells it. Shame my local feed store doesn't stock Saracen.
Could they order it in for you? Mine tries to get anything I ask him for , now he stocks what I use 😂

Nah, they don't contract with them at all. I had my old horse on Equi-Jewel and had to order it online from wherever I could.

Not sure about this. They're the online arm of titmuss which operates a big shop and bulk deliveries to local yards and supply smaller feed shops in Herts.
Something's clearly not working with their process if they can get 100 haylage bales and 20 bags of assorted feed to us within a few days but can't hand over one to yodel

I've been dealing with Equisupermarket for years, mainly for Charnwoods micronised linseed which I can't get locally, and for Protexin when I used it as their prices for it were very competitive, and also Agrobs products when I fed them.

Their delivery comms aren't the best, but the stuff usually arrives via Yodel about a week after ordering - ordered Mon arrives Sat is typical.

I have used them quite abit for feed deliveries! I’ve found that the items do come, sometimes quite quickly and other times abit of a wait.

What I did do was to ensure whatever I ordered I didn’t need quickly so just allowed them to naturally turn up 👍

First choice in Larkhall sells it. Kia liked it, I used to soak it as it does swell quite a lot so when I buy anything new for feed it gets chucked in water to see how much it will Make in my horses tummy.

It says carrs Billington in West Dunbartonshire stocks it if that's near you 👀 or Bullands connection feed store g62 if that's nearby.

Good to know about Larkhall, though it’s a massive schlep for me now. Still doable if you don’t want to wait for a delivery, though.

Bullands no longer exists. It was run by a guy who works my yard and he said it wasn’t sustainable so he closed it.

Alexander's out near Newton Mearns seems to stock it as well.

Are people still having issues with EquiSupermarket?.
Ordered end of August, tracking number says still with sender.
Have tried contacting via email which apparently is no longer trading after Googling some very poor reviews, and then no luck messaging their feedback feature. The contact number I finally found, just rings out.

Sorry to hear that Tiddlypom, that doesn't sound good at all.
I wish I had searched for reviews beforehand, but I was struggling to find an online retailer that offered the two products I've ordered, just to save having to look out two separate deliveries.

Yes, ordered stuff twice and both times after a four day wait they just refunded saying they couldn’t fulfil my order

I'm sure I've ordered from them in the last couple of months and the items have turned up albeit slowly. It's a shame as they are competitively priced.
