As title really!

Ive had the opportunity to buy one MEGA cheap so thought I would take a punt and get it - if it doesnt fit or I dont get on with it I'm pretty postitive I will be able to sell it on again with no fuss.

The one Ive bought is a 17inch wide fit (autumn currently has a bates momentun in a wide) KN Symphonie.

How have others found them to ride in? What sort of horses do they tend to fit?

From pics it looks like a fairly flattish broad tree'd saddle so im hoping it wont be a million miles out on autumn who is fairly flat and broad!

My only experience of them is my mum riding in one years ago and saying how much she loved it so thought I would take the chance whilst its there!

I looooooove these saddles!!
Both my boys have a Symphonie. One is a very high withered TB narrow fit and the other is flat backed, low withered MW fit.
Amazing quality-one of my saddles is 15yo and still going strong! Very comfortable without being restrictive with a narrow twist so you feel close to the horse.
If I was offered one cheap i'd bite their hand off!

Ooo thanks thats reassuring to know!

She does a have a back a bit like a table so good to know it fitted your flat backed boy :)

Keeping everything crossed its not too far off the mark - obviously I'll be getting a fitter to come out and check it but fingers crossed!

Loved mine too. Can't remember what model it is and as its currently at the saddlers, I can't check, but I really liked it. It did however have quite a flat seat which was either love or hate. It was my gelding's but I am really hoping it will fit my mare when it returns.

I took a chance on one off eBay and I really like it. No idea what model it is and it's definitely fairly old but a lovely saddle to ride in! I found the seat a lot less 'containing' than some dressage saddles I've ridden in but that suits me fine. Sadly I bought it for my old TB and it just doesn't quite fit my WB so it's gathering dust waiting on me to put it back on eBay...

As someone else said I think you'd either love or hate them, but if mine fitted B I'd definitely still be riding in it!

Im quite liking the fact it is a bit flatter with smaller blocks! I ride in a bates momentum normally for jumping which is very minimal.

I have the isabelle dressage saddle for my other horse and over time I have come to dislike it. Huge blocks which feel very odd especially in rising trot and makes my lower leg do very strange things! It might have something to do with the stirrup bars being positioned further back or maybe im not riding long enough in it I dont know???

Anyway fingers crossed the kn fits Autumn - it certainly doesnt make dressage easy doing it in a xc saddle all the time!

I had a KN Symphonie. I bought it new but it did not fit my new horse who was too wide for it. The lady who bought mine had a real bargain. I think they are very comfortable, they free their shoulders up and let them move. Frm the rider point of view I like the fact they don't have huge blocks.

Sounds like you might have bought mine :D Sold it on eBay about 2 years ago, nice enough saddle but didn't fit anything I had at that time (was def a TB fit) and I was having a clear out to pay for another Butet which I loooovvveee :)
