Anyone had their 2012 Olympics ticket money taken yet?

Not yet - am watching my online banking though!!
How do they decide when to take your £? Alphabetically, by event etc?
 
No not yet.

How does it work? I applied for 2 lots of Dressage tickets (different events on different days) and the boxing (for my sin's! OH's xmas present!).

Now thinking back I should have only applied for 1 Dressage event (did so to ensure I managed to get tickets for something) Do I have to take all the tickets if I am "lucky" enough to get them all?

Did you hear that guy on the news the other who applied for £36,000 worths of tickets. His credit card limit is £10,000 and he was saying the odds of him getting any tickets was worth the risk. I know he's right but blimey he'll be nervous checking his statements for the next few months.
 
No, nothing as yet - I am hoping I am not lucky enough to get all the ones i have asked for though as that'll be over £400 and I don't really want to pay £400!! Lol. Then again, I think I can easily sell any I didn't want to friends/family. I would certainly like to get some though!

Yes, if you get them all you pay for them all, but there will apparently be arrangements later (much later, I think) to sell on those you don't want /can't afford. The money will go from your account without warning and at some point after that (July probably...) they might be kind enough to tell you what you've got! It's not entirely satisfactory but there you go...

I've got loads of my mate's money sitting in my account as I'm skint so she's paying and I'm paying her back as and when (how kind is that? :)), and now she's skint too - gah!
 
Yes but I've worked out I have not got XC tickets! : ( but the amount means I have SJ tickets so not all bad! Money taken out via ticketmaster with 2012 used on statement! Good luck all!!

How have you worked out that you don't have XC tickets?
It's all we applied for, so if we haven't got tickets I am going to buy clothes with that money!
 
I worked out by the price! They where different prices gutted as really fancied the XC apparently it was the 5 th most popular event out of all events : (

You might just not have got xc yet.

I don't know of anyone who's had money for xc tickets taken out yet so I'm guessing they've not allocated them.
 
i havnt even check my statement yet! i didnt think that if the money was taken out you were alocated them, they take out the money for what you have applied for and if you are not allocated them you are refunded?
 
I was told by a neighbour that they were taking the postal entries money first. Not sure if that is true!

No money taken from my account yet not sure if I am disappointed or relieved!!
