get their gg re-valued upwards for insurance purposes? I brought my youngster very green and he now turned into a blooming super star. Looking on website and HH couldn't buy him anymore.
I'm assuming that i would have to get him vetted?? brought 2 years with vetting, how else do you re-value upwards. Pain in know
g

You may have to have him vetted, but if he's been insured for 2yrs with no claims, I think you can get away with sending competition records and comparable horses for sale at the value you wish to reinsure him at. It does depend on the insurance company though.

Some insurers also want written valuations from 'registered instructors' of a certain level.

You will need to provide documented evidence of competition results normally at affiliated level.

I looked into this when my lad came better than expected but they wanted a full revetting inc xrays at my own cost (had been insured 5 years with no claims whith them) and full documented evidence of his record.

I decided not to bother as the premium price was horrendous

yeah this is what i'm thinking but my mother (sweetie) is just asked the question and is pushing, but i know the insurance will be outragous(sp).
