how bulky are they?

im after a showing hat thats not too bulky as i already have quite a big head!! would like one thats passed at least the british and europe standards,

can beat that, I have a 7 1/2 sized head! :) I just like to think its to fit all my brains in! :)

And I also have a charles owen h2000 hat for showing.
I really like it, it is quite high crowned which took me a while to get used to but now that I have I think it looks really smart! I would like a beagler next but only when I can afford one! :) hehe For now my CO does the job just lovely! :)
 
I've got one for unaffiliated dressage competitions and sometimes feel a little bit like an old-fashioned bobby in it as it is quite high, but it is very comfortable and far safer than some of the other hats around.
 
thanks! youve made me feel loads better im 7 1/8th which i thought was massive!! i think i have quite a small face and large top of my head which tends to make me look like a bit of a mushroom!

i thought this hat would look nice with tweed for showing and also navy jacket for sj,
 
sorry about bumping this back up, but im about to get one, any more views appreciated. also, being thick here, but how does having a high crown affect me?? i want to use it for dressage and showing mostly :)
