A friend is looking for a quality competition horse - either young with genuine potential (min probably 5) or older (max probably 10) & at the appropriate level; certainly needs to be at Foxhunter or ability to get to it (crystal ball stuff I know). Would be aiming for Foxhunter as a minimum.

16.0-16.2hh, no quirks or vices, needs to be nice 'person' who will flourish as a member of the family (private yard) but will also have to be up for fairly hard work & fairly regular competing.

Buyer is kind, competant, experienced at Foxhunter level, has regular tuition & keeps horses to a high standard - 12 hour t/o, regular back/teeth/saddle checks etc. Great long-term home.

I thought I'd ask on here as it would be nice to get something on recommendation - i.e. know the history. Would prefer a private seller & not something with a dis-jointed/complicated history. Obviously needs to pass a 5 stage vetting.

Sensible money paid.

Bit of a long-shot, just thought I'd ask! Please PM me if you think you might have/know of anything. Thanks!

You just missed out! I had one would might have done the trick, only he's just been sold.
Good luck hunting

I know someone who has one that will be for sale soon, a 8yr old mare, jumped on the veteren teams abroad, regularly competes over 1.20m, reliable and nice looking mare.

Serious money though, PM if interested

9c - DOH!!

JH - sounds lovely; they have a realistic budget, we're not talking mega-bucks. Would you mind PM'ing me the price - no point in taking up your time asking for full details if she's £20k too expensive, LOL!

check out the website in my signature.. nothing to do with me, a friend, but he seems to have some lovely horses.. i've had a sit on the coloured 5yr old, which i REALLY like, and wouldn't mind eventing it..

Hmmm, I can't mention the coloured (I'd be dead jealous!!!), but there's a couple on there that look nice, I'll contact them for prices, thanks!

PM me if you want to know anything about them

i guess you'd be even more jealous if i told you that that picture was taken when it [the coloured] had only been jumping for a short while, it's jumping a whole lot better now!

Hi, I have a friend with a lovely young horse that fits the bill.
He's a 5 year old bay gelding and has loads of scope and ability. She prefers eventing and would like to sell him to finance another evnter

Thank-you! They are getting a horse vetted tomorrow afternoon but if it doesn't go according to plan I'll be in touch!
