Just curious to see what everyone's crosses look like and what they're doing :D

Mine is a 5yo, bought her last Autumn and she had almost the whole winter out until June just doing mostly ground work, lunging, in-hand work and getting her to stretch and seek the contact properly. She's now working under saddle really nicely and improving every day. Canter is her weakest pace so I never did much but she seems to have developed enough now and finally finding her balance in it. ;)

Oh my god - don't :( you'll make me cry!! I love this cross, my ebony was tb x Friesian and was the most amazing horse and my soulmate! I'm on my phone so can't post pics but there are some in my album on my profile. I got her when she was 7 - very green and determined to do it her way!!! She had the biggest heart and got her pants in a wad so easily!! Schooling was hilarious, you had to ask her to do something simple and praise her right at the beginning, then she was primed for the session and learning - if you didn't set her up like that you may as well not have gone in the school!! She jumped - boy did she jump, was an amazing hunter, turned into a fab school mistress... I wouldn't say that in the end canter was her weakest pace, but it did take some getting there!! I always say that if I ever won the lottery and got my dream yard, I'd breed a few tb x friesians... They make the most excellent sports horses. My friend has recently bought one, she has just backed her and couldn't have a nicer mare. I miss my beautiful girl every day - yours is stunning, I wish you the best of luck and many happy times together x

Sounds like she was an amazing horse! Mine isn't at all spooky but she is really sensitive about the way she is ridden and finding a saddle she was happy with was a whole other story! She's just like a gelding on the ground, super dorky and cuddly, everyone thinks she's a gelding when they meet her! I just jumped her for the first time today and she didn't bat an eyelid :)
