Anyone have this riding hat?

I don't have this particular one but if you are buying it for your daughter to wear at Pony Club check first that they allow vented hats - my daughter's didn't.

i dont have it but i know plenty people who have it and would really like one myself!
make sure it fits and stuff first:)

does the fact that it needs to be posted not worry you? I personally wouldn't buy anywhere other than from an actual shop - I learnt from my mum that our heads are too valuable to be covered by a hat that got bashed around via post...

And who's to say it hasn't been bashed around in the delivery truck taking it to the shop? Or the delivery company didn't drop a box loading onto the lorry? Just a thought :)

Yeah I guess so. But I personally think the chances of it being dropped/broken etc are higher through post. After all, it already will have been delivered, so may have been bashed around or dropped taking it to the seller initially...

Considering I live in the Shetland Isles the fact it has to be posted doesnt concern me.
As already said it has to be delivered to the shop so will already have been trasported!
My daughters head is indeed very valuable to me but it has to arrive to my house somehow.
Nobody buys riding hats from the factory they were made so I guess everyone has to take this risk.

The only thing I would add, is that I take 2 different sizes across different makes of hat, so it is really useful if you can get the make you want tried and fitted, even if you then order from elsewhere.

I was going to buy one of these, but as far as I remember it's not Kitemarked which potentially could be a prob. at some competitions (kitemark also means approved by Pony Club, so if that's what it's for it might be worth getting one that is marked). The Harry Hall Legend is quite similar in looks and price, but is kitemarked - could be an option?

Having said that though, I don't know how reliable that is as I hear that kitemarks are apparently old-fashioned and not too important anymore! Sorry if all I have done here is confused matters... Hopefully someone with more knowledge than me will come along soon to clear it up.

I got a Champion Ventair in the end though, and I love it.
