Anyone have your own horse and also a pony for your toddler?

I have my little mare and just been offered a pony for my 3 year old daughter for the summer - we currently already share the pony and have known the family for years (I had one of their horses on loan previously). She would live out 24/7 and they would help with looking after her if I ever can't due to work/childcare etc as they have 6 other ponies with her and we are on the same yard.

It feels a no brainer but just intrigued if anyone else in the same position.

disclaimer: i'm not in this situation, but this seems like a nice situation to be in. Since you know the owners and your child knows the pony, I would say say yes! Seize the day!

Thank you! I feel like I have nothing to lose really! I wouldn't ever force ponies on her but she's always wanting to sit on mine and have a walk around and loves helping at the yard and if she had enough or it didn't work out they'd have her back in a heartbeat!
