Ive had to call up a haylage HQ to report of some mouldy haylage bales from a supplier. Got another 2 bales from another supplier and the first one was lovely and non fussy horse demolished it but the second one was mouldy.
Got another bale from the same supplier and that went back as mould was not only on the outside but inside too.
Today got the 2 replaced with another 2 and opened the 1st bale and again mould inside and outside. Opened the 2nd bale and that didn't smell right well neither smell very nice at all and horse will not eat any of it. I shall be returning them again next week. These bales are all 2012 crops. Does anyone have any delivery of 2013 crops of the green and white bales in the South East?
