anyone heard about these cheap American worming tablets u can get?

just wondering as we have a worming program on are yard n we r worming in the next few days for them to go out at the weekend in there summer turnout.
we have all been told to either buy pramox or equimax and there are some new people on are yard that have decided to just get there own american worming tablets and also used equi tape.
is this ok i am worried that they are all going out together in the same field and never really heard of these worming tablets b4 what do u think?
 
no neither have i looked on net but cant seem to find them will have to try and find out the name of them.
i know she said they were apple flavour n horses just eat them off ya hand no hassle they looked just like a big long tablet weird
 
Maybe put a post out for tia,enfys or jade_wisc,tia and enfys in canada but jadeWisc is in wisconsin so she may know what you mean??

I don't know about tablets - but apparently American wormers are about a third of the price here usually just different trade names but you should check which worms they attack.
 
Never heard of such a thing, is it new?

There used to be a very popular brand of "feed through" wormer pellets that went in the hard feed but even they seem to have been superseded by more modern dosage wormers. The injectible Ivermectin experiment never caught on although quite a few people with lots of horses use the liquid and a dosing gun because it's a much cheaper option than individual paste tubes.

Off to look for wormer pills on the net . . .

do u know what as well they made out drrrr do u not know what they are.
sounds like i am not the only one who has never heard of them.
Wat would everyone who has replied think if everyone else was on a worming program and these people decide to get these pills and throw there horse out with yours am i over reacting ???????????
 
Sorry to point out that it is illegal to use imported wormers, they need to have a UK license. The 'wormer police' will be after them! More importantly there is no come back if anything goes wrong.
 
Wormers from any other country are illegal to use in this country.
