Anyone heard of a black trailer being too hot ?

Thinking of buying a black second hand equi trek trailer but local trailer dealer has said "don't" as horses will overheat - any views on this gratefully appreciated !

I thought it would be a problem as I bought a black trailer and then it dawned on me that it would absorb more heat from the sun, but because it had adequate ventilation it never did. Especially with the summers we get now!

Don't know - my OH has a black car, and it doens't seem to get any warmer than my white one! lol

I had a black trailer and it was fine, no different to any other colour.

I have a black trailer, i find it does get warm in there but it is never a problem, im sure most trailer get warm as they heat up in the sun, due to being metal?

Well I went and looked at trailers at a dealer on one of the hottest days of the year . The white fibreglass equitrek was cool and airy and the black fautras was stuffy and warm inside.
